Niger Delta Group Assures Minister of Support

The Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), a one of the oldest youth groups and leading pressure group in the Niger Delta, has expressed strong support for the significant strides being made by the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, Warri Sentinel has learnt. 

This was contained in a statement released by Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah, Special Assistant to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs when the youth leader, Comrade Frank Ekene paid a courtesy call on the Minister in Abuja.

Ekene commended the Minister for his proactive efforts in driving regional development.

Major Ekene highlighted the transformative impact of the Minister’s initiatives, noting the impressive progress in infrastructure, health, and environmental projects. He also praised the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for its ongoing efforts to rejuvenate the region and improve the quality of life for its residents.

Responding, Momoh expressed his gratitude for the group’s support and vote of confidence. He reaffirmed his commitment towards the continuation of the developmental agenda for the Niger Delta, emphasizing that the collective efforts of youth organizations and government agencies are crucial for the region’s growth and prosperity.

He said, “I am deeply honored by the support and confidence shown by the Niger Delta Youth Movement. Our work is driven by a shared vision of progress and prosperity for the Niger Delta. Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for our communities,” said Minister Momoh.

NDYM has chapters in all the nine states in the Niger Delta, including Delta State.
