Troubled by the abduction of their benefactor, Hon. Joan Onyemeachi popularly known as Ada Anioma, residents of Ubulu-Uku community in Aniocha South Local Government Area, have scheduled intercessory prayers for her safe return.
Warri Sentinel gathered that the prayers for the former lawmaker, will commence on Tuesday, August 6 at Isselu-Uku Junction, Ubulu-Uku, Delta State.
Harrison Gwamnishu, a constituent of the former Lawmaker said,
“Ada Anioma I know has many under privileged children under her care, widows and orphans and I strongly believe the kidnappers were not told the good side and if anything happens today, a lot of families will lose their daily bread. Ada Anioma needs our daily prayers of divine protection and safety.”
The former Commissioner who was abducted in her church premises on July 30, lost two of her aides in the process.
When contacted, the Force Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Odafe said the police is working assiduously to free the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain and bring the criminals to book.
