Governor Oborevwori Celebrates Asagba of Asaba at 70

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Thursday attended the 70th birthday thanksgiving of His Royal Majesty, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, OON, the Asagba of Asaba.

The thanksgiving service, held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, West End, Asaba, was attended by traditional rulers, political leaders, clergy, and residents of the capital city.

Governor Oborevwori praised the Asagba for his role in promoting unity, peace, and development in Asaba and Delta State. He also acknowledged the monarch’s contributions to education, law, and cultural preservation.

Obi Azinge, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters, ascended the throne after a distinguished career in academia and public service.
