Gov Oborewori Donates Buses to Warri Wolves and Delta Queens

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has donated four new buses to two of the state’s leading football clubs in a bid to improve transport and team performance.

Warri Wolves and Delta Queens each received a Toyota Coaster and Toyota Hiace bus during a handover at Government House in Asaba. The move follows reports of logistical difficulties faced by both teams during recent fixtures.

The governor said the vehicles were intended to ease travel challenges and motivate the teams to compete at higher levels. He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sports development.

Officials and players welcomed the gesture, saying it would help improve morale and performance as both clubs continue their campaigns in Nigeria’s top football leagues.
