Delta State Begins Promotion Interviews for Civil Servants

The Delta State government has officially commenced promotion interviews for civil servants, beginning on December 2 and set to conclude by December 12. The interviews are for officers on salary grade levels 12 to 16, who are due for promotion in January and July 2025.

This initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to address ongoing concerns about delays in promotions, which have been a source of frustration for many civil servants. The government hopes this move will help address the backlog of pending promotions and ensure timely career progression for affected officers.
