Delta Govt Rolls Out Scholarships for Children of Deceased Civil Servants, Others

The Delta State Government has begun disbursing scholarships to children of deceased civil servants and students with disabilities as part of its 2024 support programme.

The exercise, overseen by the State Bursary and Scholarship Board, will run from 30 September to 15 October, according to a statement from the Permanent Secretary, Mr Harold Ojji.

Officials have urged families of beneficiaries to follow the published schedule to ensure smooth access to the payments.

For further assistance, two contact persons have been designated: Patricia Olie for cases involving children of late civil servants, and Chinefu Uwabuofu for students with disabilities.
