Delta Central APC Women Rally for Tinubu, Oborevwori 2027

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District have thrown their full support behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the party’s exclusive candidates for the elections.

The endorsement was declared at a women’s unity gathering on Sunday at Kingdom Hall, Ughelli. The proposal was initiated by Mrs. Josephine Oduaran and backed by Hon. Stella Okotete, with former House of Representatives member Hon. Evelyn Oboro chairing the session.

Hon. Stella Okotete, who also serves as Executive Director at NEXIM Bank and convened the meeting, stressed the women’s unwavering dedication to championing Tinubu and Oborevwori’s bid for victory. She lauded the harmony within the APC under Oborevwori’s leadership and promised expanded empowerment programs targeting women.

Okotete encouraged women to actively engage voters throughout the district, noting the party’s innovative twinning system designed to foster inclusive representation. She expressed optimism for a sweeping win, affirming Delta State’s transformation into a solid APC stronghold.
