Dangote Warns Truck Operators Over Illegal Use of Logo

Dangote Industries Limited has issued a fresh warning to truck operators illegally displaying its logo, stating that such unauthorized use continues to damage the company’s reputation.

Despite previous warnings, the firm says unaffiliated truck owners still use its branding to gain undue advantage, with some of these vehicles involved in incidents wrongly linked to Dangote. The company expressed concern over the growing number of such cases.

In response, Dangote announced plans to intensify surveillance in collaboration with security agencies, promising legal action against offenders. It also called on the public to disregard misinformation linking it to unrelated road accidents.

With over 12,000 trucks in its fleet, including 3,000 contractor-owned, Dangote emphasized that only properly registered vehicles are part of its logistics network.
