APC Launches Ughelli North Council Ahead Of 2027 Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its leadership council in Ughelli North, Delta State, pledging full mobilisation for the 2027 general elections.
Party leader Olorogun O’tega Emerhor will chair the council, which includes Chief Fred Majemite, Chief Festus Agas, and Stella Okotete. The inauguration, held in Evwreni, was attended by party stalwarts, lawmakers and local government officials.
Mr Emerhor said the council would serve as the party’s rallying point for grassroots engagement. “We are ready in every sense physically, financially and spiritually for the next election,” he said.
Ughelli North chairman Olorogun Jaro Egbo urged members to prioritise discipline and unity, while Professor Samuel Ibodje called for inclusiveness within the party. The council was formally inaugurated by state lawmaker Matthew Omonade.
