ADC Says David Mark Still Party Chairman Amid Resignation Rumours
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dismissed reports claiming that its National Chairman, David Mark, has resigned from his position, insisting that the former Senate President remains firmly in charge of the party.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Paul Mumeh, the party said the resignation claim is false and intended to mislead the public and create confusion within its ranks.
The statement stressed that neither Mark nor the party leadership has discussed or considered any plan for him to step down as chairman.
It added that the ADC remains united and focused on strengthening its structures ahead of the 2027 general elections, despite attempts to spread misinformation about its leadership.
