Nigerian Army Opens Applications for DSSC Course 29/2026

The Nigerian Army has announced the start of applications for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29/2026, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for officer commissioning. The programme is open to both civilians and serving military personnel.

Applications are entirely online, free of charge, and will run from January 7 to February 4, 2026. Successful candidates will be commissioned into various corps, including Engineers, Signals, Medical Corps, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and Education Corps.

Prospective applicants must visit the official recruitment portal at recruitment.army.mil.ng, complete the online form, and upload required documents such as educational certificates, passport photographs, proof of professional membership, and valid identification.
