Nigerians Still Have Faith in Electoral Process – INEC Insists
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has dismissed claims that voters are losing confidence in the country’s elections.
INEC says strong turnoutat its ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) centres was proof that Nigerians remain eager to participate in democracy.
Spokesman Rotimi Oyekanmi told reporters that criticism from some civil society and religious groups does not reflect reality.
He said the commission would continue to build trust by improving transparency.
