Rivers Deputy Governor Ngozi Ordu Denies Resignation Rumours
Rivers State Deputy Governor, Ngozi Ordu, has dismissed rumours that she resigned from office due to political pressure. A viral social media video had claimed Ordu stepped down amidst the state’s political crisis.
In a statement released on Wednesday, March 5, by her Press Secretary, Owupele Benebo, Ordu categorically denied the reports, reaffirming her commitment to her duties.

Benebo called the claims “false and misleading” and urged the public to ignore the speculation.
