Delta APC Releases House of Assembly Screening Results, Sets Date for Appeals

The All Progressives Congress in Delta State has announced the release of screening results for aspirants seeking to contest the State House of Assembly elections.

The party disclosed on Wednesday that the House of Assembly Screening Committee for Delta State had concluded its assignment, with the outcome of the exercise now officially released.

According to the State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, all aspirants who purchased Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms and participated in the screening exercise are expected to verify their status.

The party stated that the results have been displayed at the APC State Secretariat located along WAEC Road, opposite WAEC Office in Asaba, and are available for checking from 8:00 a.m.

The APC also advised aspirants dissatisfied with the outcome of the screening to make use of the appeal window provided by the party.

It announced that the Screening Appeal Committee would sit on May 13, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. at the party’s state secretariat in Asaba.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and due process, the party encouraged all aspirants to comply with laid-down procedures as preparations continue ahead of the elections.
