Uvwie, Ughelli North Chairmen Visit Late Mine’s Family, Demand Justice

Chairmen of Uvwie and Ughelli North Local Government Areas have visited the family of Oghenemine “OG Million” Ogidi, whose death has been linked to an alleged extrajudicial action involving police officers.

The Uvwie Council Chairman, Anthony Ofoni, and his Ughelli North counterpart, Jaro Egbo, made the joint condolence visit earlier in the day, offering support to the grieving family.

During the visit, the council leaders condemned the circumstances surrounding the incident, insisting that such actions cannot be tolerated and must be fully investigated. They called for accountability and a transparent process to establish the facts.

They further assured the family that authorities are taking steps to ensure justice is delivered, while urging calm as efforts continue to address the situation and prevent similar occurrences.
