Delta APC Needs Unity, Not Division —Omo-Agege Tells Oborevwori

Former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, has called on Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, to promote unity, reconciliation, and inclusion within the Delta chapter of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.

Omo-Agege, in a statement released Thursday night, emphasised the need to close ranks within the party, warning that internal divisions could weaken its chances. He called on the governor to encourage inclusiveness and put an end to actions that may fuel disunity among members.

His remarks come amid renewed conversations around the 2023 governorship election, following a trending video from an event in Lagos. Omo-Agege pointed out that the dispute had already been settled by the Supreme Court of Nigeria, insisting that reopening the issue would not move the party forward.

While congratulating Oborevwori, the former lawmaker urged party faithful to shift attention to future political goals. He also reaffirmed his commitment to securing victory in Delta State for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates in the next general election.
