Sapele LG Chairman Bans Commercial Motorcycle Operations
The Sapele Local Government Council has imposed a ban on commercial motorcycle operations following a recent violent clash involving northern bike riders.
On Wednesday, April 28, tensions escalated along Hausa Road, where northern commercial motorcycle riders reportedly lynched a fellow northerner over allegations of bike theft.
Subsequent investigations, however, indicated that the victim was innocent of the accusations, sparking protests among northern residents along Hausa Road in Sapele.
