Delta Govt Renovates Classrooms, Exam Hall in Isoko South

Delta State Government has completed the renovation of six classrooms and the Examination Hall at Owodokpokpo Grammar School, Igbide, in Isoko South Local Government Area, as part of efforts to strengthen education infrastructure across the state.

Commissioner for Lands, Surveys and Urban Development, Chief Emamusi Obiodeh, who announced the project’s completion in Asaba, praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for prioritising school facilities. He said the upgrade will create a more conducive environment for students and teachers, while supporting improved academic performance.

Obiodeh noted that the intervention reflects the administration’s commitment to education under its MORE Agenda, which focuses on inclusive development and meaningful impact at the grassroots level. He added that sustained investment in learning infrastructure remains central to the government’s growth strategy.

He expressed gratitude to the Owodokpokpo-Igbide community for their support during the project’s execution and reaffirmed the state government’s resolve to continue delivering infrastructure that promotes shared prosperity and long-term development.
