Uduaghan Seeks Stronger Synergy with Delta SSG

The Honourable Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaint Commission, Hon. Matthew Uduaghan, accompanied by management staff, paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG) Dr Kingsley Emu. The delegation was received by the SSG, the Permanent Secretary, and several political aides.

In his address, Hon. Uduaghan expressed gratitude for the opportunity to strengthen ties between the Federal Government’s Commission and the Office of the SSG, which he described as the engine room of the state government. He emphasized that the Commission’s statutory functions in administrative justice depend on the goodwill of the host government.

The Federal Commissioner formally requested that the SSG keep his doors open for future consultations, interventions, and collaborations. He stressed the importance of synergy between both parties in addressing matters of maladministration and promoting best practices within state Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

In response, the SSG acknowledged the gravity of the Commission’s mandate and assured them of his readiness to deploy necessary machinery for prompt inquiry into reported cases. He affirmed that his doors would remain open for any required interventions and synergy, pledging full cooperation to institutionalize global best administrative practices.
