Workers’ Day: FG Declares May 1 Public Holiday
The Federal Government has announced Friday, May 1, 2026, as a public holiday in commemoration of International Workers’ Day.
The declaration was issued by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who conveyed the government’s message while congratulating Nigerian workers.
He also praised workers nationwide for their commitment and vital role in driving the country’s development.
