UBEC Reintroduces Biometric Clock-In System for Delta Teachers
The Delta State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), in collaboration with the , has launched the first phase of the Attend360 Teachers Attendance System and reintroduced biometric clock-in for public primary school teachers, Local Government Education Authority personnel, and SUBEB staff across the state.
Speaking during the launch at Uzoigwe Primary School, SUBEB Chairman Samuel Mariere said the initiative is aimed at improving accountability, strengthening teacher attendance, and enhancing service delivery within the basic education sector in Delta State.

Mariere noted that the move forms part of ongoing reforms to improve the quality of education in public primary schools, adding that the attendance system will help monitor staff punctuality and commitment while promoting efficiency across the board.
