Tinubu Sacks Ministers of Women Affairs, Youth, Others; Nominates New Appointees

President Tinubu also nominated Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as the new Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, while Nentawe Yilwatda is set to become Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, effectively concluding the tenure of the suspended Betta Edu.

President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers and nominated seven new appointees for Senate confirmation during a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday. Among those removed from office are Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
