Three Sisters Found Dead After Birthday Party in Udu

Three sisters have tragically died after attending a birthday party on Monday, March 31 in DSC, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. The bodies of the two older sisters, aged in their 30s, and the youngest, believed to be 15, were discovered today, Tuesday, April 1 in what residents are describing as a mysterious and shocking incident.

Authorities are investigating the possibility of food poisoning, though the exact cause of death remains unclear. The sisters, who were reportedly not living with their father full-time, had returned home from the birthday party the previous day. Their bodies were found the next morning with foam emerging from their mouths.

Neighbours have expressed concern, questioning whether the food consumed at the party or their father’s home could have been contaminated.

Speculation has also arisen about the sisters’ relationship with their stepmother, who had been living with their father since the death of their biological mother less than a year ago.

Police of the Delta Police Command have detained the father and stepmother for questioning as part of their investigation.
