The appointments, confirmed in a statement on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, include Mr. Olusegun Omosehin from the National Insurance Commission, Engr. Wole Ogunsanya from the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria, Sam Onyechi from the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum, and Barrister Owei Oyanbo from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
These appointments follow the exit of previous representatives from the council. The NCDMB, created under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act of 2010, plays a key role in promoting local content in the oil and gas industry.
President Tinubu urged the new members to use their expertise to further strengthen Nigeria’s oil and gas sector and enhance local content development.
