Top figures from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are meeting behind closed doors in Abuja this Tuesday, as momentum builds ahead of the PDP’s upcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) gathering.
The meeting kicked off shortly after both parties addressed the press at INEC’s headquarters.
Although the specifics haven’t been made public, the conversation is believed to revolve around internal party affairs, preparations for future elections, and discussions about the PDP’s leadership structure.
In attendance are PDP’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, several PDP governors, and senior officials from INEC.
