Overland Airways Returns to Warri with new Flights

Overland Airways is set to resume operations to Warri from May 20, 2025, signifying a key development in the airline’s expansion efforts and regional connectivity within Nigeria. The return of scheduled flights to Warri’s Osubi Airport comes with a fresh offering,  brand-new Embraer 175 jet aircraft and enhanced onboard services.

The airline will now operate direct flights between Lagos, Abuja, and Warri on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, catering to growing demand for efficient and comfortable travel options in the Niger Delta region.

In a statement, the airline welcomed its return to Warri, noting that the improved service reflects a strengthened focus on operational standards, passenger comfort, and dependable travel.

Flight Schedule (Effective May 20, 2025):

  • Lagos – Warri: Departs 08:15 AM

  • Warri – Lagos: Departs 12:30 PM

  • Warri – Abuja: Departs 09:25 AM

  • Abuja – Warri: Departs 11:05 AM

All routes will be served by the new E-175 jets, equipped with both Premium and Economy cabins, designed for comfort, efficiency, and an upgraded travel experience.

Overland Airways, which has been operating since 2002, has built a reputation for dependable regional service. The return to Warri also comes with a special introductory fare, now available via the airline’s official website.

The carrier currently serves a network of Nigerian cities, including Abuja, Akure, Dutse, Gombe, Ibadan, Ilorin, Jalingo, Lagos, Minna, and now, Warri.
