Omadino PRO, Armstrong Yomere Clears Air on Tantita Partnership Claims
The Omadino Federated Communities have distanced themselves from claims made by Roland Oti Yomere, who held a media briefing on November 8, 2025, asserting an alliance between the community and Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSL). The community stated that Mr. Yomere acted on his own and had no mandate to speak or negotiate on behalf of the Omadino people.
In a statement signed by Armstrong Yomere, Public Relations Officer of the Omadino Federated Communities Trust, the group clarified that Mr. Yomere is not the Chief Priest of Omadino and was not authorized by any recognized leadership body to engage with the media or pledge support to TSSL. The statement warned the public and stakeholders to disregard any such claims and avoid dealing with him in any official capacity.
The community reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Federal Government’s efforts to safeguard oil and gas infrastructure but stressed that any engagement with companies like Tantita Security Services must go through proper channels approved by its Trust and elders. It also warned against any move to annex Omadino land or extend Gbaramatu’s influence under the guise of security partnership.
Reiterating its sovereignty under the overlordship of the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Omadino leadership emphasized its dedication to peace, progress, and lawful engagement. It urged Tantita Security Services, the media, and the public to treat Mr. Yomere’s statements as personal and not representative of the community.
