Olu of Warri, Badenoch, Elumelu, Others Named 2025’s Top Africans

Reputable Poll International (RPI), in partnership with the Global Reputation Forum (GRF), has revealed Nigeria’s esteemed monarch, His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, as one of the honorees for the prestigious “100 Most Reputable Africans 2025” list.

The 2025 list acknowledges 17 Nigerians from different fields. Those recognized include National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment Jumoke Oduwole; the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III; and Pastor Enoch Adeboye. Other honorees are Apostle Joshua Selman, Tony Elumelu, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Prof. Benedict Oramah, Bala Wunti, Cosmas Maduka, Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, Paul Enenche, Kamil Olufowobi, Mayam Uwais, Wemimo Abbey, renowned gospel singer Sinach (Osinachi Egbu), and poet Maryam Bukar Hassan.

Since his coronation in 2021, Ogiame Atuwatse III has worked tirelessly to forge global partnerships and attract development to the Warri Kingdom, establishing himself as both a visionary leader and a successful entrepreneur.

Kemi Badenoch, a Member of the UK House of Parliament and Leader of the Conservative Party’s opposition, also made the list in the African Diaspora category.

According to the GRF, the selection process involved a rigorous evaluation of candidates based on their integrity, ethical leadership, and commitment to societal well-being. The honorees were further chosen for the transformative impact of their contributions and their recognition within their respective fields.

The recipients have expressed their gratitude on social media, celebrating the honor and acknowledging the recognition of their contributions.

This annual recognition by RPI honors African leaders, innovators, and changemakers who have made significant contributions across various sectors, including business, governance, arts, education, and humanitarian efforts.
