Oborevwori Pledges Action on Flooding as Obi Oputa III Receives Staff of Office
Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has pledged that the state government will work closely with the Federal Government to find a lasting solution to the recurrent flooding affecting Aboh Kingdom.
Governor Oborevwori, represented by his deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, made the commitment during the presentation of the Staff of Office to His Imperial Majesty, Dr. Gregory Nnamdi Oputa, who was installed as Obi Oputa III, the 20th Obi of Aboh, in Ndokwa East Local Government Area.

The Governor also congratulated Obi Oputa III on his ascension to the throne and urged him to use his experience to lead the community with fairness and justice. He encouraged the people of Aboh to support their new monarch in maintaining peace and prosperity.
Chief Charles Ifeanyi Odili, the Iyesele Onowu of Aboh, called for unity within the Aboh Traditional Council to foster growth and peace.
The ceremony was attended by a wide range of dignitaries, including traditional leaders, government officials, and well-wishers from across the region.
