NDDC Begins Applications for CNG Vehicle Conversion Training Across Niger Delta

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has opened applications for a specialised skills training programme focused on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle conversion across the region.

The initiative, which covers all nine Niger Delta states, is designed to equip youths with practical, industry-relevant competencies that align with emerging trends in cleaner energy and sustainable transportation.

Through the programme, participants are expected to gain hands-on technical skills that support job creation while encouraging the adoption of alternative fuel solutions within the transport sector.

Eligible applicants have been advised to apply through the official NDDC online portal within the stipulated period. The commission noted that only candidates who meet the criteria will be shortlisted for screening.

According to the Commission, the training forms part of NDDC’s broader commitment to youth empowerment, energy transition, and economic inclusion in the Niger Delta.
