JUST IN: Bobrisky Reportedly Arrested At Seme Border

Social media activist, Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has alleged that popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has been arrested by security operatives.

VeryDarkMan claims that Bobrisky was arrested at the Seme border while attempting to escape to the Benin Republic to evade an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives.

In an Instagram video, VeryDarkMan stated, “Bobrisky has been arrested this morning at Seme border while trying to enter the Benin Republic to escape the current investigation by the House of Reps. He is allegedly being held by Nigerian immigration.”

Bobrisky has been entangled in a bribery controversy following the release of an audio recording by VeryDarkMan, in which Bobrisky allegedly stated that he bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million. In the recording, He also claimed that he did not serve his six-month sentence in Kirikiri prison due to the influence of his godfather. These revelations prompted an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives, but Bobrisky failed to appear before the committee, citing illness.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation from authorities regarding Bobrisky’s arrest.
