Governor Oborevwori Reshuffles Cabinet

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has announced a reshuffle of key portfolios within his cabinet as part of efforts to streamline governance and advance his administration’s MORE Agenda.

In a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, it was revealed that the changes, which take immediate effect, involve two key commissioners.

Mr. Charles Aniagwu, formerly the Commissioner for Works (Rural and Riverine Roads), will now serve as Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information. Meanwhile, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, who previously held the position of Commissioner for Information, has been reassigned to the role of Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House).

The reshuffle is seen as a strategic move to further the goals of the MORE Agenda, which focuses on development, governance efficiency, and improved public service delivery. The Governor has stressed the importance of aligning the state’s leadership structure with these broader objectives.
