Governor Oborevwori Inaugurates 295 Renewed Hope Ambassadors
In a strategic move to solidify grassroots engagement, Delta State Governor, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, officially inaugurated the Local Government and Ward Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) on Tuesday in Asaba. The event, which drew top government officials and party leaders, saw the Governor, represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, establish a structured network comprising 25 Local Government and 270 Ward Coordinators to serve as a direct link between the administration and the people.
Governor Oborevwori emphasized that the inauguration serves as both recognition and empowerment, tasking the coordinators with the responsibility to deliver on the group’s vision. He underscored the theme, “Our Party, One Message, One Mobilisation,” stressing that unity and coordinated action are essential for deepening the impact of their mission across every community in the state.
The immediate past Governor of Delta State and South-South Coordinator of the RHA, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, noted that the initiative, established by President Tinubu in collaboration with progressive governors, is designed to foster informed conversations and effectively communicate government policies. Reinforcing this sentiment, the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Areyenka, declared that the party is steadily advancing toward success, while the APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), Hon. Victor Giadom, reminded the appointees that they serve as the direct representatives of both the party and the President in their localities.
State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, described the inauguration as a strategic milestone in building a robust grassroots structure across the state’s 25 local government areas and 270 wards. He charged the new ambassadors to carry out their duties with dedication, unity, and integrity to effectively advance the Renewed Hope agenda.
