The Nigeria Police have dismissed reports that former Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, David Parradang, was kidnapped and murdered in Abuja.

In a statement released on Tuesday, March 4, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command clarified that Parradang was found dead in his hotel room following a visit from a female guest.

According to Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, Parradang had checked into Joy House Hotel at Area 3 Junction on Monday, March 3 booking a one-night stay. It is reported that he hosted a female guest in his room, who left around 4:00 PM the same day.
