End Hardship Protest: President Tinubu Ready To Address The Nation

President Bola Tinubu is set to address Nigerians after three days of the End Bad Governance In Nigeria National Protest on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 7:00am, Presidential Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale has said in a Press Statement.

A presidential address has become imperative since the narrative of the hunger protests has spun to violence in parts of the country. 

Meanwhile Day three of the End Bad Governance In Nigeria National Protest had a tinge of violence in parts of Delta State and Nigeria.

Michael Johnny, an APC Stalwart led an anti-protest demonstration at Effurun Roundabout, encouraging them to shelve the end hardship national protest

He harped on the need for the masses to adopt dialogue as an approach to place demands instead vandalism.

In Okirighwe, hoodlums hijacked the protest and damaged goods sold by petty traders. One of the thugs who is believed to be under the influence of hard substance ramped his car against a police van almost crushing the child in between. 

BAYELSA

Some patriotic Nigerians staged a march affirming their support for President Tinubu administration. The Placards-carrying anti protesters chanted “Tinubu race we nor go tire”.

ABUJA

Protesters assembled at MKO Abiola National Stadium. Unfortunately, police officers,  DSS operatives, Army and Navy opened fire against them. The action was based on the directive from the Chief of Defence Staff and Inspector General of Police.
