Eid-el-Kabir: Uduaghan Doles Out Rams, Observes Eid

The lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan, has doled out rams to Central mosques across Kogi Central while husband observed Eid prayers in Ihima.

Earlier, Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri, husband of the Senator joined the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and Muslim faithful to observe Eid prayers in Ihima, Kogi State.

The couple wished Muslims across the world a peaceful and joyous Eid.

Part of Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s statement obtained by Warri Sentinel reads,

“Eid-el-Kabir, a sacred holiday commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son, is a powerful reminder of the values of faith, obedience, and selflessness.

“As we celebrate this joyous day, we honour the unwavering dedication of Prophet Ibrahim and the unshakeable trust of his son, Prophet Ismail (Ishmael).

“On this blessed day, I join all Muslim faithful to rejoice in the spirit of unity, compassion, and gratitude. Let’s imbibe the principles of peace, love, and service to humanity.

“I wish everyone a joyous Eid-el-Kabir, filled with happiness, peace, and harmony. May this special day bring us closer to our faith, loved ones, and nation at large,” she said.
