EFCC Declares City Boys Movement Leader Wanted Over Alleged Fraud

Adenike Tejuosho

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a women’s leader of the City Boys Movement, wanted over an alleged fraud case.

In a notice shared on Monday via its X platform, the anti-graft agency stated that Tejuosho is being sought in connection with a case of obtaining money by false pretence. The notice was signed by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

The Commission appealed to members of the public with useful information about her whereabouts to report to any of its offices across the country. It also urged individuals to contact the agency through its official phone lines or email, or notify the nearest police station or other security agencies.

Tejuosho was recently appointed as the South-West Zonal Women Leader of the City Boys Movement. In a statement, the group said she would provide strategic leadership for women-focused initiatives in the region, including political mobilization, civic engagement, and advocacy efforts.
