Dom Domingos College Competes For 24th MILO Basketball Championship Title In Lagos
Dom Domingos College Warri, is set to join eleven other secondary schools across Nigeria to compete in the 24th edition of the Milo National Basketball Secondary Schools Championship.
The event is scheduled to begin on Saturday, June 22 and 28 at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos State.
Dom Domingos girls, representing Delta State qualified for the national event after winning the South-South Zonal qualifiers and will be participating in Group A of the female category, which include defending champions Topfield College Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos State; Dom Domigos College, Warri, and Queen Amina College, Kaduna;
while Group B comprises Government Secondary School, FCT Abuja; Zarumai Model School, Minna, Niger State, and new entrant into the competition, Onireke High School, Oyo State.
Dom Domingos is the only government secondary in the Warri, Uvwie and Udu with a Basketball Court.
Before the draws, Managing Director, Nestlé Nigeria Plc, Mr Wassim El-Husseini, represented by the country’s commercial director, Boladale Odunlami, expressed delight in providing a platform for young ones to showcase their talents.
