Delta NMA Disowns Viral Cancer Report Linked to Blessing CEO
The Delta State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has denied any connection to a histology report circulating online, which links relationship coach Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, to breast cancer. The association said the document was altered from an original medical report issued to another patient.
In a statement signed by NMA Delta State Chairman Dr. Israel Adaigho and Secretary Dr. Usamah Hannah, the group clarified that the report allegedly issued by Xinus Medical Diagnostics, signed by consultant pathologist Dr. O.A. Odigwe, was never intended for Blessing Okoro.
The association noted that the diagnostic centre’s owner confirmed the document does not belong to Blessing Okoro. The viral version also misidentified the location of Xinus Medical Diagnostics as Enugu State, while it is actually based in Asaba.
The NMA added that the original report was issued in May 2025 for a patient named Mbara Deborah following a suspected breast cancer diagnosis. The test confirmed the patient had breast cancer, and the version now circulating online appears to be an altered copy of the authentic report.
