Court Frees POS Agent After 2 Years in Prison Over Kidnap Case
A Point of Sale (POS) operator has been freed after spending two years in detention over claims that kidnappers used her machine to withdraw ransom money.
The woman was arrested after unidentified suspects allegedly accessed her terminal to collect funds paid by the family of a kidnapping victim. Despite no evidence linking her to the crime, she remained in custody while investigations continued.
Her freedom was secured after authorities concluded she had no knowledge of or involvement in the kidnapping.
