APC Stakeholders in Delta North Push Back Against Marginalisation

Pressure is mounting within the Delta North chapter of the All Progressives Congress as party stakeholders demand greater recognition for long-serving members in government and party structures.

Meeting in Agbor, leaders of the APC Delta North Coalition for Equity raised concerns that loyal members who sustained the party during difficult years have been sidelined while newer entrants dominate appointments and influence.

Coalition convener, Chief Alex Ikpeazu, warned that continued exclusion could weaken party cohesion. He called on the APC’s national leadership and Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, to adopt transparent guidelines that promote fairness, particularly ahead of forthcoming congresses.
