Police Rescue Four Kidnap Victims in Delta

Four persons abducted along the Ewu–Ajekuta Road in Delta State have regained their freedom following a coordinated security operation. The victims were taken after gunmen blocked the road and seized occupants of a Toyota Sienna in Ewu community.

Police sources said the incident was reported promptly, triggering a joint response involving the Delta State Police Command, other security agencies, and local vigilantes. The swift action led to a pursuit of the suspects into surrounding areas.

The operation ended with the safe recovery of all four victims, who were later taken to a hospital for medical checks. No casualties were recorded during the rescue.

Security operatives recovered two expended 7.5mm ammunition at the scene, while efforts to track down the fleeing kidnappers continue through intensive bush combing and manhunt operations.
