Delta Cleared to Host 2026 Police Games

Delta State has been confirmed ready to host the 15th Biennial Police Games, scheduled to hold in Asaba from February 7 to 14, 2026, following a comprehensive assessment by the Force Sports Planning Committee.

The clearance followed a two-day planning conference and inspection exercise led by Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Fom Pam Joseph, during which operational and logistical arrangements were reviewed.

Senior police officers from across the country participated in the meeting, which examined issues including security, accommodation, medical services, transportation, and venue readiness for the games.

After touring selected sporting facilities, the committee expressed confidence in the state’s preparedness, assuring athletes and officials of a safe, coordinated, and successful event.
