Oborevwori Swaps Primary, Secondary Education Commissioners
A minor cabinet adjustment has been carried out by the Delta State Government, affecting four commissioners, as Governor Sheriff Oborevwori moves to realign responsibilities within key ministries.
Central to the reshuffle is the exchange between the Commissioners for Primary and Secondary Education. Mrs. Rose Ezewu has been reassigned to oversee Primary Education, while Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu now heads Secondary Education after leaving the Primary Education portfolio.
The changes also extend beyond the education sector. Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka has been transferred to the Ministry of Energy from Physical Planning and Urban Renewal, while Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu now takes charge of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal after leaving the Ministry of Energy.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, confirmed the development in a statement, noting that the redeployments take immediate effect. The governor also approved the appointment of Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha and Mr. Charles Ajuyah, SAN, into the Delta State University Governing Council, with inauguration details to be announced later.
