Omatsola Ogbe Leads NCDMB to Fourth Consecutive PEBEC Award

Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has guided the Board to win the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Transparency and Efficiency Champion Award for the fourth straight year. The Board topped the Ease of Doing Business rankings in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, reflecting its sustained commitment to excellence.

The award ceremony took place on December 2, 2025, at the State House in Abuja. Omatsola Ogbe was represented by NCDMB’s Acting Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Omomehin Ajimijaye, who highlighted the Board’s alignment with national policy reforms and strong adherence to management goals.

Under Omatsola Ogbe’s leadership, the Board has strengthened operational efficiency, enhanced transparency, and fostered consistent collaboration with partners and industry stakeholders. These efforts underscore the NCDMB’s reputation for quality service delivery and institutional excellence.

The PEBEC Awards, chaired by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, also recognized NCDMB staff for reform initiatives. Omatsola Ogbe’s leadership was central to automating processes and minimizing human interference in operations, setting a benchmark for other agencies. The Board continues to drive local industry growth under the NOGICD Act of 2010 while raising standards for the years ahead.
