JAMB Prosecutes 40 UTME Candidates for Exam Malpractice

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that more than 40 individuals involved in malpractice during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are currently facing prosecution.

JAMB Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, said in a statement that between 2019 and 2024, over 70 people were successfully prosecuted, with more than 10 convictions secured.

The board reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of Nigeria’s tertiary education admissions process.
