Dalori Replaces Ganduje as APC National Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Ali Bukar Dalori, Deputy National Chairman (North), as the Acting National Chairman of the party following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, tendered his resignation on Thursday, citing the need to attend to urgent and important personal matters. His resignation takes immediate effect, according to a statement released by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

President Tinubu, who has maintained a firm grip on party affairs since taking office, has directed Dalori to step into the role in an acting capacity. This arrangement will remain in place until the APC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) convenes an emergency meeting to formally elect a substantive replacement.
