Oborevwori Appoints Oseji As Head of Service

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has appointed Dr. Mrs. Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service.

The announcement was made by Charles Aniagwu, Commissioner for Works and Public Information, on Monday, March 24.
Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who held the position for nearly nine years.

Dr. Oseji, a medical doctor, previously served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment.

She has also held the role of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health. In 2020, she was elected as the 22nd National President of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN).

The new Head of Service is set to be sworn in on Monday, March 31, 2025.

With the appointment of Dr. Mrs. Minimim Oseji as Head of Service, there are growing expectations that more women will be appointed to key roles in public administration and politics within the state.
