Omadino Community Targets Technical College Completion, Woos Investors
The Omadino community in Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State has commended the State government for expediting the completion process of the Model Technical College, a project that was started by the previous administration.
This follows a recent inspection visit by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori focused on the ongoing construction of the Trans-Warri-Ode-Itsekiri Bridges and Access Roads, as well as the Model Technical College project in the Area.
Speaking to Warri Sentinel, Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren, the Chairman of the Omadino community, thanked Governor Oborevwori for the ongoing initiatives, noting that the projects would significantly boost commerce and business activities in the community. He assured that the community would create a favorable environment for the successful completion of the technical college.
Mogbeyiteren also called for increased investment in the area, stating the investment potentials of the land.Â
The community chairman further called on both the state and federal governments to accelerate development efforts in the area, particularly in completing the cottage hospital and revamping other abandoned projects.
Also speaking, Joshua Ghereje, the community’s youth spokesperson highlighted the numerous benefits the technical college and other projects would bring to the people of Omadino. He urged the government to ensure proper management of the school and other projects, offering full support and protection from the community to ensure their successful implementation.
Other stakeholders of the community reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the state’s development projects. They urged investors to explore opportunities in various sectors, particularly agriculture, citing the region’s fertile land as perfect for farming.
