Oborevwori Bags Governor of the Year Award

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has been named Governor of the Year at the ThisDay/Arise Awards. The recognition comes after Oborevwori was nominated alongside other prominent governors, including Lagos’ Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kaduna’s Uba Sani, and Akwa Ibom’s Umo Eno.

In response to the honour, Oborevwori described the award as a reflection of the collective efforts and progress achieved in Delta State over the past 18 months of his administration.

The Delta Governor commended the organisers of the award and also dedicated the award to the good people of his state.

The award comes amid growing recognition of Oborevwori’s administration, particularly for its focus on infrastructure development and public welfare.
